The following is a condensed list of physical indicators you can look for that MAY indicate sexual abuse.

- Bruises or bleeding in external genitalia and areas around upper thighs and on arms around wrists
- Complains of pain or itching in genitalia
- Difficulty in sitting or walking
- Torn, stained or bloody underclothing
- Sexually transmitted diseases
- Pregnancy, especially in early adolescence
